 I joined the chamber, not as much to help my online businesses but for my own socialization needs. I met some fantastic chamber members today. I chose Catoosa County rather than Hamilton County mainly because of its convenience. I live and work here. On December 7th, 2022, the chamber held a shop local breakfast. Let’s start with the food! Catering by Alan supplied the food. The food was fantastic, and the staff served our meal humorously and graciously. I was expecting a continental breakfast and was impressed with the assorted pastries, muffins, and other sweet goods. Heaping helpings were piled on my plate. While I could not eat everything because of my gluten intolerance, it all looked delicious. Two varieties of an egg casserole, fresh fruit, sausage AND bacon, a hash brown casserole, biscuits, and gravy were available. Toss in the coffee and juice bar, and I was in heaven. Today’s touching program honored Senator Jeff Mullis and Representative Dewayne Hill. Several local dignitaries reminded us of what these two gentlemen have done for our community. Both fought for projects for Catoosa County, and we graciously thanked them for their efforts. Networking is always fun, and I accidentally picked up a small job through a conversation. Joining the Chamber is always a great choice, no matter what business you run! The decorations were colorful and creative. The Grinch made a brief appearance, but I could not muster through the crowds to get a selfie. I was able to get one with my new friend and Ambassador, Shanda Reese Morgan, with Reese Enterprises.
